Henrik Nedergaard Thomsen

Henrik advises and assists both Danish and international clients within the insurance sector and Danish public authorities. He has conducted more than 150 cases before the Danish Supreme Court and has extensive experience with national and international ad hoc and institutional arbitration - also as an arbitrator.

Henrik deals with professional and product liability (PI, construction, energy, offshore, infrastructure), professional liability (D&O, E&O, lawyers, accountants, real estate agents and good practice), administrative law issues on work injury, subrogation and recourse, regulatory issues (IDD, policy and insurance conditions) as well as public authorities' liability and state self-insurance scheme.

He regularly advises on matters of principle and assists Danish and international players in large complex litigation and arbitration cases, including in collaboration with, among others, Michael Wiisbye, Denmark's largest insurance coverage case to date concerning the Siri platform in the North Sea.

Henrik Nedergaard Thomsen was born in 1965 and graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 1989.
