Carl Christian Illum has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law matters and assists Danish and foreign clients, including in relation to venture capital, M&A and other strategic transactions.
Carl Christian Illum has special experience in intellectual property law and advises on strategies for protection or exploitation of rights under copyright, trademark, patent and marketing law.
Furthermore, Carl Christian Illum has considerable experience in competition law and assists companies in matters of strategy, transactions and collaborations and in dispute resolution.
In 2016-2017, Carl Christian Illum studied an MBA at HEC Paris in France. In 2010, Carl Christian Illum spent a semester at Pepperdine University's Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution. Carl Christian Illum has co-founded and is an active participant in several Danish companies and is thereby very focused on commercial matters, especially in relation to startups.
Carl Christian Illum was born in 1987 and graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 2011.
